医学分野のレビューについての新ガイドライン公表
医学分野の主要誌5誌は、7月21日、オタワの医療グループがまとめた系統的レビューやメタアナリシスに関する新しいガイドラインPRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) を公表した。公開時点では、投稿にあたってこのガイドラインを推奨する5誌は次の通り：Annals of Internal Medicine, PLoS Medicine, Open Medicine, the British Medical Journal and the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology。
PRISMAは1999に発行されたQUOROMの後継で、この分野では他にCONSORT、EQUATOR、MIBBIなどのガイドラインや推進グループがある。
